Royal family of Abu Dhabi owns eight aircrafts and football team Manchester City

According to The Jerusalem Post, the Nahyan royal family of the United Arab Emirates is one of the richest families in the world and occupies significant roles in both commerce and politics in the gulf region.

Their combined wealth surpasses that of Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon, and Bill Gates, the founder of Microsoft.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the head of the Nahyan family, is the president of the United Arab Emirates and the ruler of Abu Dhabi.

He has nine kids, eighteen grandchildren, eighteen brothers, and eleven sisters. The family’s massive, $478 million residence, “Qasr Al-Watan,” is 380,000 square metres and houses all of the family members.

The family’s real estate holdings include opulent homes and developments in the United Arab Emirates as well as abroad.

Eight aircraft total, comprising three Boeing 787-9s and an Airbus A320-200. Two aircraft in Sheikh Mohammed’s personal collection include a $478 million Boeing 747 and a $176 million Boeing 787.

They also own three of the biggest yachts in the world.

Their collection of cars is simply amazing. According to reports, their cars are dispersed around four museums in Morocco and the United Arab Emirates. The family’s collection of over 700 vehicles includes Lamborghinis and Ferraris.

The City Football Group, which includes football teams like Manchester City, Mumbai City, Melbourne City, and New York City, is 81% owned by the family.
