There has been news of the passing of Herbert Wigwe, the Chief Executive Officer of Access Holdings Plc and co-founder of Access Bank.
He was 57 years old.
Tragically, a well-known Nigerian banker and entrepreneur, along with several members of his immediate family, lost their lives in a devastating helicopter crash in California, United States of America, on Friday.
Multiple media sources have reported on the incident, stating that he was accompanied by his wife, son, and three other individuals on the helicopter.
According to the US Federal Aviation Administration, a helicopter crash occurred around 10:00 pm local time near Nipton, California. The incident was reported to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department at 10:12 pm local time.
