A Bradford home fire has claimed the life of a youngster.
Three other children and a lady who escaped the property are receiving non-life-threatening medical attention at the hospital.
West Yorkshire officers released the following statement in a statement: “The fire department summoned officers to reports of a significant home fire on Kingsdale Drive, Bradford, at 1:08 today morning, May 5.
“After escaping the property, a woman and her three kids were brought to a hospital to receive medical attention. Their wounds don’t pose a threat to their lives.
“A fourth child was found inside the address and was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene,” police stated.
“A scene is currently in place at the address and police are working with the fire investigators to establish the exact cause of the fire.”
According to West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service, three teams were dispatched to the incident, using four breathing apparatuses and two hose reels.
