Allegedly, Former NFL Great Vince Young was knocked Out Cold During a Bar Brawl

Vince Young, a former NFL star quarterback, was reportedly involved in a bar fight in Houston last month, where he was allegedly struck and appeared to lose consciousness. The incident was captured on video and shared by TMZ.

An incident took place on Feb. 9, where surveillance footage captured a scuffle that began with Young, who was dressed in a black t-shirt and white hat.

There seemed to be some sort of restraint on Young, but then things got physical, leading to a further escalation of the situation.

The situation escalated as the commotion spread throughout the bar, with one individual resorting to physical aggression against another who was attempting to leave.

It was that very individual who landed a surprise punch on Young, causing him to fall to the ground instantly.

The Houston Police Department informed TMZ that the bar owner contacted the authorities, who promptly responded to the incident. The owner stated that the whole situation began with a discussion about race.

During the incident captured on video, a beverage was hurled amidst the confrontation, allegedly targeted at the owner. Additionally, he received an elbow to the head.

According to TMZ, the owner chose not to press charges and no arrests were made in the incident.

Young, 40, was selected as the No. 3 overall pick of the 2006 NFL Draft by the Tennessee Titans following an impressive collegiate career at the University of Texas.

Young hails from Houston and made a name for himself while representing his home state’s Longhorns. He gained fame for his role in leading them to a memorable Rose Bowl victory against USC, which was considered the NCAA national championship at that time.

Young’s exceptional performance in his debut season with the Titans earned him the Offensive Rookie of the Year title, along with a well-deserved spot in the Pro Bowl. He spent five seasons in Nashville before briefly joining the Philadelphia Eagles in 2011.
