According to TMZ, the Los Angeles Police Department has identified Kanye West as a suspect in a battery case.
It is reported that he allegedly punched a man who had attacked his wife Bianca Censori late Tuesday night.
A representative for West informed TMZ that Bianca was the victim of a physical assault, clarifying that the assailant did not simply bump into her. He placed his hands under her dress, directly on her body, firmly grasping her waist. With a swift motion, he spun her around, playfully blowing kisses her way. She endured physical and sexual violence.
According to law enforcement sources, both West and Censori left the scene after the reported altercation, and the man involved did not need medical attention.
Authorities are seeking to speak with West and other individuals who may have information.
According to TMZ, the rapper was under investigation for battery last year after a video surfaced of him throwing a woman’s phone at an intersection. However, he was not charged in connection with the incident.
TMZ reports that a person who was seeking an autograph in Los Angeles in 2022 has filed a lawsuit against West, claiming assault and battery.
According to reports, West, 46, tied the knot with Censori, a 29-year-old Australian architectural designer, at his Yeezy brand in early 2023.
The couple were seen strolling around Disneyland on Tuesday, with Censori opting to go without shoes.
