Sultan Kösen, from Turkey, holds the title of being the tallest man in the world, standing at an impressive height of 8’9″.
Chandra Bahadur Dangi, from Nepal, holds the title for being the shortest at just 21 and a half inches. Today, the two crossed paths for the first time — in London, for the 10th annual Guinness World Records Day.
Kosen, at the age of 31, is engaged in the noble profession of farming. Meanwhile, Dangi, who is 74 years old, has a job creating placemats and head straps for the local villagers.
“Despite our contrasting heights, we have faced comparable challenges in our lives,” shared Kosen, a 31-year-old farmer, in an interview with AFP. “And when I gaze into Chandra’s eyes, it’s evident that he possesses admirable qualities.”
