At a Texas airport, a small propeller plane missed the runway while landing and then skidded into a passing automobile on a nearby road.
During an emergency landing, the jet crashed through a fence, as seen in footage that bystander Jack Schneider recorded.
“I knew he wouldn’t have time to stop when I saw the airplane coming down the runway quickly,” Mr. Schneider said to WFAA-TV, a local news station, on Saturday.
“It was clearly going too fast, the tires were smoking.”
The two occupants of the jet escaped unharmed, while the driver of the car was sent to the hospital with minor wounds.
The reason for the accident is being looked into by the Federal Aviation Administration.
