P-Square has outdone themselves again with the release of the stylish music video for "Beautiful Onyinye," which features none other than the head honcho of Maybach Music, Rick Ross.
P-Square have truly risen to the top since their previous video, "Chop My Money," which featured Akon.
"Beautiful Onyinye" is a song by Nigerian duo P-Square featuring American rapper Rick Ross . This track first featured on their 2005 album The Invasion (2011). The song was recorded soon after P-Square inked partnerships with Akon's Konvict Muzik and Universal Music Group.
They told Okay Nigeria TV that they were in the studio with Akon in Atlanta when Rick Ross dropped by. While they were playing the original, Rick Ross gushed about its feel. Following this, Akon recommended working with Rick Ross to the pair. The pair were in agreement and informed their manager, Jude Engees Okoye. Contract details were ironed out over the phone with Rick Ross's agent. When questioned about the video shoot, the two members said, "We shot Rick Ross' scenes in Miami and shot the rest of the video in South Africa in order to maintain our African identity."
