It will feel warm with sunny spells in the south of the UK today but there will also be a scattering of heavy showers with a risk of thunder and hail at times.
There will be colder and clearer conditions across the northern half of Scotland with the odd isolated shower possible.
Elsewhere, it will be a mainly cloudy day with some patchy rain but some bright or sunny spells are possible later.
A top temperature today of 16 Celsius (61F).
