Ice Cube and LL Cool J are reportedly in talks to buy 22 television networks, a move that could vault them to the top of the Forbes list.

Thanks to his plans to purchase a huge portion of the television industry, LL Cool J could soon be up there with the likes of Jay-Z and Diddy. Cool J is currently in talks with fellow rapper Ice Cube for the purchase of 22 television networks that are currently owned by the Walt Disney Company.
According to TMZ, in light of Disney’s $71 billion acquisition of 21st Century Fox, the Justice Department has ordered the House of Mouse to sell off 22 regional sports channels in order to avoid a monopoly, despite the fact that Disney already owns ESPN. The deal involves 22 stations, including Fox Sports San Diego, Fox Sports Arizona, Fox Sports Detroit, Fox Sports Southwest, and others.
Disney acquired the 22 stations as part of its $71 billion purchase of 21st Century Fox. However, since Disney owns ESPN, lawmakers believe they should not own all of Fox’s sports networks, so the Justice Department has ordered Disney to sell them.
Fox Sports San Diego, Fox Sports Arizona, Fox Sports Detroit, Fox Sports Southwest, and the YES Network are among the stations on the list. The Yankees’ broadcast rights are worth an estimated $5–$6 billion to YES.
The group is also said to be in talks with other public figures about joining the bid, which would be due on November 8.
