Find Out Why Miley Cirus Is Considering Leaving The Hip Hop Music Scene

#WeGotYourBack #WeGotItCovered #BreakingNews #EntertainmentNews #USA #MusicNews #MileyCirus #HipHop

It seems like just yesterday Miley Cyrus was collaborating with Juicy J and getting on remixes with French Montana. Well, don’t expect those days to return. In a recent interview with Billboard, the 24-year-old singer said she was distancing herself from hip-hop—or, at least, the type she feels oversexualizes women.

Answering a question about singer Melanie Safka’s influence on her music, Miley eventually ventured off into the reasons why she’s put some distance between herself and the genre she occasionally dabbled in a few years ago. Like just about everyone else, though, she’s a fan of that new K. Dot.

“But I also love that new Kendrick [Lamar] song [“Humble”]: ‘Show me somethin’ natural like ass with some stretch marks,’” she explained. “I love that because it’s not ‘Come sit on my dick, suck on my cock.’ I can’t listen to that anymore. That’s what pushed me out of the hip-hop scene a little. It was too much ‘Lamborghini, got my Rolex, got a girl on my cock’—I am so not that.”

After discussing the “political” vibe of her forthcoming new album, Miley eventually returned to hip-hop, focusing specifically on the notion that she was ever appropriating Black culture.

“It’s mind-boggling to me that there was even a controversy around me having black dancers. That became a thing, where people said I was taking advantage of Black culture, and with Mike [WiLL Made-It]—what the fuck? That wasn’t true. Those were the dancers I liked!” Miley explained.

Miley said she took criticism from music industry figures when she said she wanted to work with Pharrell Williams, whom she collabed with on the 2014 track “Come Get It Bae.”

“When I met Pharrell [Williams], before ‘Blurred Lines,’ before ‘Happy,’ people wouldn’t take meetings with me because they said, ‘He hasn’t had a hit in 10 years.’ They wanted to put me with the Dr. Luke’s of the world, the Max Martin’s, and put me through the fucking assembly line, and I said, ‘No. This is someone who actually cares about me. This is someone I feel safe with.’ I got completely shut out, and I had to just trust myself. What feels right to me feels right to my fans, because they know some dude in a suit didn’t tell me to do it.”

It’s unclear how people will take Miley distancing herself from certain types of hip-hop, but there’s a good chance it sparks up the conversation about the singer’s past relationship with the genre people guard so fiercely.

Donald Trump: “We will get along with all other nations willing to get along with us”

#WeGotYourBack #WeGotItCovered #BreakingNews #Telegraph #USA #NewYork #PresidentalElection #DonaldTrump #USPresident

Donald Trump won the US presidential election early this morning in a stunning victory that sent shockwaves around the world.

The Republican took the key swing states of Florida, North Carolina and Ohio early this morning, as he marched towards the White House.

Mr Trump pledged that he would be “president for all Americans” in his New York victory speech.

He said he was “reaching out” to the people who had not supported him to “unify the country”.

“Now it’s time to bind the wounds of division. I say to Democrats and Republicans it is time come together as one united people,” he said.

“I pledge to be president for all Americans,” he said, adding: “The forgotten men and women of our country will be forgotten no longer.”

Trump: ‘We will do a great job

He said it was not a campaign but a movement that had won him the White House, comprised of “all people of different backgrounds and beliefs”.

He said victory had been “tough”. “This political stuff is nasty and it’s tough,” he said, while thanking his family.

It was an extraordinary election night. Mr Trump won some early east coast states and did not look back. When he secured the key swing state of Florida, a clear path to the presidency was laid out. He went on to win Ohio and South Carolina.

In an extraordinary development, Mrs Clinton did not initially concede the election – but then later called Mr Trump to congratulate him on his victory.

Mr Trump offered generous words for his vanquished opponent, saying she had worked hard for many years and was owed a “deep debt of gratitude”.

The crowd was respectful at the mention of Mrs Clinton.

In a conciliatory speech Mr Trump added:  “We will get along with all other nations willing to get along with us. We will deal fairly with everyone. We will seek common ground, partnership not conflict.

“America will no longer settle for anything less than the best. We must reclaim our destiny.”

The Republican surpassed expectations and confounded pollsters in Florida, where Mrs Clinton had been expected to win following a surge in the Hispanic vote.

Mrs Clinton’s hopes of a swift victory faded as the Republican picked up a series of states early on and maintained his momentum.

Financial markets around the world plummeted as votes for Mr Trump stacked up.

Mr Trump’s threats to rip up a free trade agreement with Mexico and tax money sent home by migrants to pay for building a wall on the southern US border if elected president caused the peso to hit a record low.

Nigel Farage, the leader of Ukip, described the result as “bigger than Brexit”.

He told The Telegraph that Mr Trump’s election will represent a “massive result” for Britain.

He said that the UK would have a “friend in the White House” who will prioritise trade relations with the UK.

The Price Of Bitcoin Has Fallen More Than 10%, After Bitfinex Hack. £49M Worth Of Bitcoin Stolen

#WeGotYourBack #WeGotItCovered #BreakingNews #BBCNews #HongKong Economy #HongKongDigitalCurrencyExchange #BitfixenHack  #Bitcoin #49M

The price of bitcoin has fallen more than 10% after the Hong Kong-based digital currency exchange Bitfinex said it had suffered a major hack.

The security breach led to the possible theft of bitcoin worth $65m (£49m).

Bitfinex told the Reuters news agency on Wednesday that nearly 120,000 bitcoin were stolen from its exchange platform.

All transactions on the virtual exchange have been suspended while the security breach is investigated.

In a statement on its website, Bitfinex said that it was “deeply concerned about the issue and we are committing every resource to try to resolve it”.

The hack is one of the biggest thefts in bitcoin’s history and is being treated as a “major deal” by many in the virtual currency community.

“Unfortunately, we continue to have vulnerabilities in the form of exchanges and wallets,” former Singapore-based bitcoin broker David Moskowitz told the BBC.

“The vulnerabilities almost always occur on the exchange or wallet side and this is an area that continues to need improvement and more secure protocols, no different than when a bank gets robbed.”

Securing bitcoin trading platforms has been a key challenge, with hacking and thefts seen as the biggest threats.

In 2014, the Tokyo-based Mt Gox trading exchange declared bankruptcy when hundreds of millions of dollars in bitcoins vanished or were stolen.

But Mr Moskowitz stressed that in spite of the latest alleged theft “the core protocol is extremely robust and has not been hacked”.

He said while there would most likely be a price correction in bitcoin, he remained confident that it would continue to be an appealing alternative asset.

One Of 219 Chibok Schoolgirls Kidnapped By Boko Haram in 2014, Has Been Found Alive.

#WeGotYourBack #WeGotItCovered #BreakingNews #Nigeria #Politics #BokoHaram #ChibokSchoolGirls #Kidnapped #FoundAlive #NigerianArmy #YoutubeVideo

The first of 219 girls kidnapped by terror group Boko Haram in 2014 has been found alive, the Nigerian army has said.

“This is to confirm that one of the abducted Chibok schoolgirls… was among rescued persons by our troops,” army spokesman Colonel Sani Usman said in a statement.

Colonel Usman gave her name as Falmata Mbalala and said she was discovered in Baale, near the town of Damboa, 90km (56 miles) southwest of the Borno state capital, Maiduguri.

Activists and community leaders said she was found on Tuesday and brought to meet her mother in the town of Mbalala, near Chibok, before being taken to a military base in Damboa.

The 19-year-old’s uncle, Yakubu Nkeki, said she was pregnant and traumatised, but otherwise unharmed.

Her father died while she was being held captive, Mr Nkeki said.

Manaseh Allan, a Chibok youth leader, told the AFP news agency: “The girl was found by local vigilantes in Kilakesa village on the edge of Sambisa Forest near Damboa.

“She was brought first to Chibok by the vigilantes who took her to the vice-principal of her school, who immediately identified her as Aisha Ali, which is her name in the school register.

“She was presented to community leaders as Amina Ali but her name as it appears in the school register is Aisha Ali.

“It is common for children in Chibok to be called with one name in school and another at home.”

A statement from the #Bringbackourgirls activist group quoted Falmata as saying the other girls were also in the Sambisa Forest area and were heavily guarded.

She is now thought to be travelling to the Borno state capital, Maiduguri.

There was international outrage when 276 girls – mostly aged between 16 and 18 – were abducted from their school in Chibok in April 2014.

More than 50 managed to escape over the next few months.

High-profile figures including American first lady Michelle Obama joined a campaign with the hashtag: #BringBackOurGirls.

Hope was briefly raised in April 2015 when the Nigerian military announced it had rescued 200 girls and 93 women from the Sambisa Forest.

It later emerged that the Chibok girls were not among them.

Boko Haram militants have killed an estimated 15,000 people and kidnapped hundreds of men, women and children during a six-year campaign to establish an Islamic caliphate in northeastern Nigeria.

WHO “We Expect The Zika Virus To Spread To Europe By The Summer”.

#WeGotYourBack #WeGotItCovered #BreakingNews #HealthNew #ITVNews #ZikaVirusSpread #WorldHealthOrganisation #Europe #UK

The likelihood of local Zika transmission if no preventative action is taken is “moderate” in 18 countries, the World Health Organisation (WHO) said.

While the UK is deemed to be “low” risk, global health chiefs have urged people to be prepared.

Officials will also continue to be alert to detect imported cases early and provide public health advice to travellers.

WHO said the risk is higher where the mosquito that carries the virus is present such as the island of Madeira and the north-eastern coast of the Black Sea.

Dr Zsuzsanna Jakab, WHO regional director for Europe, said: “With this risk assessment, we at WHO want to inform and target preparedness work in each European country based on its level of risk.

“We call particularly on countries at higher risk to strengthen their national capacities and prioritise the activities that will prevent a large Zika outbreak.”

The Zika virus, which is known to cause birth defects, is currently present in 58 countries.

The most recent figures show that 23 UK travellers have been infected after visiting affected regions.

Philippines’ New Leader “The Punisher” Warns “Those Who Kill My Country, Will Be Killed”.

#WeGotYourBack #WeGotItCovered #BreakingNews #SkyNews #Philippines #NewLeader #RodrigoDuterte #ThePunisher #Threatens #WarOnCrime #ReintroduceDeathPenalty

The country’s president-elect says the fish in Manila Bay will grow fat from feeding on the bodies of dead criminals.

The president-elect of the Philippines is promising to reintroduce the death penalty and use military snipers as part of a crackdown aimed at ending crime within six months of taking office.

Rodrigo Duterte, the mayor of the southern city of Davao, won the country’s election last week after a campaign marred by violence and controversy.

His key pitch to voters was a “war on crime”, which he says will involve reintroducing capital punishment.

“Those who destroy the lives of our children will be destroyed,” Mr Duterte said.

“Those who kill my country will be killed. Simple as that. No middle ground. No apologies. No excuses.”

He plans to ask the country’s congress to reintroduce the death penalty, which was abolished in 2006, for a wide range of crimes including drug trafficking, rape, murder, robbery and kidnapping.

Mr Duterte added that for people convicted of more than one major crime, they should be hanged twice.

“After you are hanged first, there will be another ceremony for the second time until the head is completely severed from the body,” he said.

“I like that because I am mad.”

He also said those who were involved in organised crime or who resisted arrest would be targeted by military snipers.

“If you resist, show violent resistance, my order to police (will be) to shoot to kill. Shoot to kill for organised crime,” he said.

He added: “I need military officers who are sharp-shooters and snipers. It’s true. If you (criminals) fight, I will have a sniper shoot you.”

The 71-year-old’s incendiary rhetoric resonated with Filipinos fed up with rampant crime, but has alarmed others – including outgoing President Benigno Aquino – who hear echoes of the country’s authoritarian past.

Mr Duterte has previously suggested that 100,000 people will die under his law-and-order crackdown, and that so many bodies will be dumped in Manila Bay that the fish would grow fat from feeding on them.

He has also described the Pope as the “son of a whore” and joked that he should have been first in line to rape an Australian missionary before she was murdered.

He is due to be sworn into office on 30 June.

Afrika Bambaataa Removed As Leader Of Universal Zulu Nation Following Child Molestation Allegations.

#WeGotYourBack #WeGotItCovered #EntertainmentNews #AfrikaBambaataa #ChildMolestationAllegations #RemovedAsLeader #UniversalZuluNation #Announcement

In the midst of allegations that he molested children, Afrika Bambaataa has reportedly been removed as a leader of the Universal Zulu Nation. The organization made the announcement that it is “under new leadership” on its official website today (May 6).

Bambaataa is not named in the statement, but the Nation says that all people who are accused and who assisted in covering up accusations have either stepped down on their own or have been dismissed.

The Nation has previously defended the Hip Hop pioneer, saying that those who have accused him of molestation were spreading defamatory rumors about Bambaataa. He has denied any wrongdoing.

The Universal Zulu Nation’s statement dismissing Afrika Bambaataa is as follows:

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

Date: 6th May 2016

Universal Zulu Nation Official Statement: International and Regional US UZN  Leaders, Universal Zulu Nation

The Universal Zulu Nation wishes to announce that it is currently under new leadership by the International and Regional U.S. Zulu Leaders. This will involve a significant restructure and will feature an in-depth re-assessment of how the organization will function to better serve our communities. As part of this restructure ALL accused parties and those accused of covering up the current allegations of child molestation have been removed and have stepped down from their current positions.

Over the coming months there will be significant changes to the organization in terms of roles, structure and establishing the policies any organization of our size should have in place. There shall also be a new move to work towards providing support for victims of abuse, rape and molestation and working more closely on other social issues existing in communities such as drug addiction, alcoholism and mental health.

We are saddened by current events. Not only because of the trial by social media of which we have been subjected to as an organization, but because until now the previous leaders and founders have been ineffective at being able to respond in a way which our members and associates deserve of us. Especially when our good work spreading the Zulu message has empowered communities worldwide. We would like to offer our sincere apologies for this.

As an organization we are in a very difficult position because we are being asked to condemn one of our founders based on testimony through social media alone. We cannot do this. We also cannot dismiss the comments of parties asserting they have been harmed. We have a duty to search for truth. We also need to be mindful that if these allegations are true that victims discussing this in a public forum has not come easily. We the Universal Zulu Nation wish to extend great sympathy to anyone affected by such issues. We know that respect and compassion need to be at the forefront of how we deal with such topics in the future, this has been a lesson in learning for us.

The public is asking for justice and we would welcome constructive suggestions on how that could be effectuated properly. At the moment it is unclear on how best to proceed, we would like to know how the claimants would like to take the matters further towards some form of resolution where the truth can be established. We can not legally speak on behalf of the parties in question in regard to the current allegations. Individuals must speak up for themselves & advice from their legal teams should be sought.

Our restructure is a positive step towards organizational change for our worldwide family of members and the great community programs they continually run which spread the message of Peace, Love, Unity and Having Fun.
