After two individuals were stabbed at the Central Middlesex Hospital in north-west London, a man has been charged with attempted murder.

Additionally, Matteo Bottarelli, 43, of Central Way in Park Royal is accused of making two threats of violence in public while carrying a bladed object.
It follows the assault on two men on Wednesday at the hospital in Park Royal, who are said to be in their 40s.
Later, Mr. Bottarelli will show up in court at Willesden Magistrates’ Court.

At 13:18 BST, armed police were summoned to the hospital where they discovered the males with wounds allegedly caused by a mattock, a form of pick-axe.
Although none of the men’s conditions is life-threatening, the Met Police has stated that one of the victims’ wounds “may be life-changing”.
The suspect was initially detained on suspicion of two attempted murder counts, but after further police investigation, he was detained on a third count as well.
According to police, the third person did not suffer any wounds.
After receiving initial medical attention for his wounds, Mr. Bottarelli was eventually released into police custody.
The incident is not being considered to be related to terrorism.
