Arsenal line up move for Turkey midfielder as Wenger plans January recruitment

ARSENAL will consider a move for Oguzhan Ozyakup in January, accruing to reports in Turkey.

Oguzhan Ozyakup is on Arsene Wenger’s shortlist this month

Ozyakup, who spent four years in the Gunners youth team before joining Besiktas in 2012, is being touted to replace Santi Cazorla at the Emirates.

He has impressed for Besiktas and is being monitored by Arsene Wenger’s scouting team, according to publication Fanatik.

Wenger admitted he will be busy this month despite sitting at the top of the Premier League table.

Arsenal are set to complete the signing of Basel midfield Mohamed Elnenny after he passed a medical this week.

But the French boss is keen for more recruits.

“I’ll be busy, that’s for sure,” he said.

“I am already busy and I said already one month ago we are a bit short to deal with all the competitions we face, especially in midfield.

“We will be busy, yes.”
