Two tiny purported “non-human” remains were submitted to the Mexican congress last week and have since undergone testing, including a CT scan and x-rays.
The two bodies were presented at a congressional hearing by self-described UFO specialist Jaime Maussan as proof of prehistoric “non-human” life. Many people referred to the bodies as “aliens” when his presentation went viral, although scientists have vigorously refuted this claim.
The putative artifacts, according to Mr. Maussan, were 1,800 years old and were found in Peru in 2017.
The tests were conducted, according to reports, by José de Jess Zalce Benitez, a military doctor and forensics specialist. According to the findings, the so-called bodies “belong to a single skeleton that has not been joined to other pieces” and were not altered.
In his response to the news last week, NASA scientist Dr. David Spergel urged the men to “Make samples available to the world scientific community and we’ll see what’s there.”
An earlier alleged “discovery” by Mr. Maussan and Mr. Benitez was disproved and revealed to be two human mummies that had been artificially made to look alien.
