After the team’s 3-1 victory over Burnley in the Premier League on Sunday, an attack occurred on the Aston Villa team bus.

While it has been reported that the bus sustained substantial damage as a result of bricks being hurled at the windscreen at junction 10 of the M65, it has been established that no one was wounded.
After today’s game, an attack on the Aston Villa team bus occurred at junction 10 of the M65, according to a tweet from Burnley Football Club.
We are pleased to learn that no one was wounded in the event after speaking with Villa.
“We vehemently condemn this behavior and will aid Lancashire Police in their search for those accountable,” the statement reads.
In the meanwhile, Lancashire Police is requesting that anyone with dashcam footage or information about the event come forward.
Following the football game between Burnley and Aston Villa, a lot of vehicles was leaving the area when this event happened, according to Superintendent Melita Worswick.
The fact that the brick did not result in more damage, significant injury, or even death is nothing but good luck.
“At this time, we are unable to say whether this was a targeted attack, but inquiries are ongoing, and this will be included in our investigation,” the statement reads.
“We are now committed to identifying the offender or offender(s), and we are asking anyone with information to get in touch.”
“If you have any information or a dashcam that can assist us, please get in touch with us right away.”
After being defeated 3-0 by league leaders Manchester City in their opening encounter, Burnley, who was promoted to the Premier League last season, has lost its first two games this year.
Their first Premier League game back at Turf Moor ended in a 3-1 loss to Villa, a contest in which Vincent Kompany’s team only mustered two efforts on goal.
