Suge Knight Is Suing Chris Brown And 1 Oak Club Owners Following Nightclub Shooting in 2014

LOS ANGELES, CA – Suge Knight is taking Chris Brown to court after sustaining seven gunshot wounds at a party in 2014 and is claiming the incident links to his hit-and-run near the set of Straight Outta Compton the following year, according to the Associated Press.

C-Breezy was hosting a party at 1 Oak in Hollywood, California when the shots were fired. The rap mogul suffered injuries to his abdomen, chest and left arm and he is suing both the Royalty singer and club owners, saying they didn’t provide proper security at the venue.

The case is filed in Los Angeles Superior Court and Knight is demanding Brown, his party co-host Pia Mia and the club pay for his past and future medical bills for the injuries. He is saying the venue should have taken extra security measures because of a history of violence at Brown’s events and his alleged gang ties.

In the aftermath of the shooting, Brown denied involvement and said he would cooperate with authorities in their investigation.

Knight says that after the shooting, he visited the set of Straight Outta Compton and was reportedly beat up by Cle “Bone” Sloan. He says he was still recovering from his injuries from the 1 Oak shooting and acted in self-defense when he ran over the three men, including Sloan, explaining that he feared for his life.

One of Knight’s lawyers, J. Tooson, wrote in a statement, “Mr. Knight was still extremely frail from his gunshot injuries less than five months earlier. When the facts are finally revealed in this case, we’re certain it will be apparent that our client was simply trying to flee for his life.”

The former head of Death Row Records is facing murder charges for allegedly running over the men, injuring two of them and killing Terry Carter. He is awaiting trial.

There was also a shooting at a club in San Jose last January at a party that Brown hosted. The singer was sued for that incident and the plaintiff cited the 1 Oak shooting with Knight in his case.

Knight took Kanye West to court in 2010, four years after being shot at a party in Miami Beach hosted by Yeezy. Like this new case, he blamed the rapper for not providing sufficient security for the event. A judge ruled in favor of the “Famous” MC, saying there was no way to forecast the shooting.

Mr Cameron Will Travel To Brussels For His Last European Council Summit As Prime Minister.

#WeGotYourBack #WeGotItCovered #BreakingNews #ITVNews #UK #Brussels #Politics #DavidCameron #EuropeanCouncilSummit #EULeaders

David Cameron is to meet leaders of other EU states for the first time since the referendum vote for Brexit.

Government sources said that the PM would use the potentially awkward meeting to urge the other 27 leaders and EU institutions to take a “constructive” approach to negotiations over a new relationship with the UK.

But he will resist pressure for an early start to the two-year talks process, insisting that it is a matter for his successor as PM to decide when to issue formal notification of Britain’s intention to leave the EU under Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty.

Despite calls for an “immediate” move to withdrawal negotiations from European Commission president Jean-Claude Juncker, the new PM may not be in place until as late as September 2.

Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt has suggested Britain could hold another vote on the leaving the EU.

Mr Cameron will attend a working dinner devoted to the consequences of the referendum vote, which has sent shockwaves through Europe’s political establishment and sent stock markets tumbling across the continent.

But he has not been invited to the second day of the summit, when the other 27 leaders will hold informal discussions on the stance the EU should take towards the UK’s demands.

The summit comes a day after ratings agency Standard & Poor’s downgraded the UK by two notches from its top AAA grade to AA, warning that victory for Leave had led to “a less predictable, stable and effective policy framework”.

A Government source said Mr Cameron would use the meeting to “encourage people to think about how the UK and EU make the best of the decision of the British people”.

He will make the point that, until the withdrawal negotiations are complete, the UK remains a full member of the EU entitled to the full rights of membership.

After telling the House of Commons on Monday that it was vital for Britain to maintain the “strongest possible” economic links with the EU, Mr Cameron will tell fellow leaders that a good economic relationship is in the interests not only of the UK but of all the remaining member states.

David Cameron: ‘ I Promise To “Steady The Ship” Over The Coming Months Before Stepping Down In October’

#WeGotYourBack #WeGotItCovered #BreakingNews #ITVNews #BBCNews #UK #Politics #DavidCameron #Resignation #BritexitVictory

Prime Minister David Cameron is to step down by October after the UK voted to leave the European Union.

Youtube video: Published on Jun 24, 2016:  Brexit: David Cameron resigns as UK votes to leave BBC News

Speaking outside 10 Downing Street, he said he would attempt to “steady the ship” over the coming weeks and months but that “fresh leadership” was needed.

The PM had urged the country to vote Remain but was defeated by 52% to 48% despite London, Scotland and Northern Ireland backing staying in.

UKIP leader Nigel Farage hailed it as the UK’s “independence day”.

The pound fell to its lowest level against the dollar since 1985 as the markets reacted to the results.

“I do not think it would be right for me to be the captain that steers our country to its next destination,” he said in a statement outside Downing Street.

Mr Cameron, flanked by his wife Samantha, said the result was the “will of the British people” which was an “instruction which must be delivered”.

Close to tears and with his voice breaking, Mr Cameron said: “I love this country and I feel honoured to have served it and I will do everything I can in future to help this great country succeed.”

The referendum, called by Mr Cameron, delivered a shock victory for the Leave campaign.

The Brexit vote immediately sent the pound tumbling and sparked calls for his resignation.

Boris Johnson is the early favourite to replace Mr Cameron.

David Camerons full speach

Good morning everyone, the country has just taken part in a giant democratic exercise, perhaps the biggest in our history.

Over 33 million people from England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and Gibraltar have all had their say.

We should be proud of the fact that in these islands we trust the people for these big decisions.

We not only have a parliamentary democracy, but on questions about the arrangements for how we’ve governed there are times when it is right to ask the people themselves and that is what we have done.

The British people have voted to leave the European Union and their will must be respected.

I want to thank everyone who took part in the campaign on my side of the argument, including all those who put aside party differences to speak in what they believe was the national interest and let me congratulate all those who took part in the Leave campaign for the spirited and passionate case that they made.

The will of the British people is an instruction that must be delivered.

It was not a decision that was taken lightly, not least because so many things were said by so many different organisations about the significance of this decision.

So there can be no doubt about the result.

Across the world people have been watching the choice that Britain has made.

I would reassure those markets and investors that Britain’s economy is fundamentally strong and I would also reassure Britons living in European countries and European citizens living here there will be no immediate changes in your circumstances.

There will be no initial change in the way our people can travel, in the way our goods can move or the way our services can be sold.

We must now prepare for a negotiation with the European Union.

This will need to involve the full engagement of the Scottish, Welsh and Northern Ireland governments to ensure that the interests of all parts of our United Kingdom are protected and advanced.

But above all this will require strong, determined and committed leadership.

I’m very proud and very honoured to have been Prime Minister of this country for six years.

I believe we’ve made great steps, with more people in work than ever before in our history, with reforms to welfare and education, increasing people’s life chances, building a bigger and stronger society, keeping our promises to the poorest people in the world and enabling those who love each other to get married whatever their sexuality, but above all restoring Britain’s economic strength.

– DAVID CAMERON

BBC: “Very Sorry” Sir Cliff Richard For Coverage Of The Raid On His Home

#WeGotYourBack #WeGotItCovered #EntertainmentNews #BBCNews #BBC #Apology #Sir CliffRichards #Coverage #RaidOnHisHome #SexAbuseAllegations #YoutubeVideo #SouthYorkshirePolice

The corporation has apologised to the star for any distress caused, but said it did nothing wrong covering the police raid.

The BBC has said it is “very sorry” that Sir Cliff Richard “suffered distress” after its coverage of the raid on his home over historical sex abuse allegations.

However, the broadcaster defended its decision to report the investigation by South Yorkshire Police, and the search of his property.

In a statement, it said: “Once the South Yorkshire Police had confirmed the investigation and Sir Cliff Richard’s identity and informed the BBC of the timing and details of the search of his property, it would neither have been editorially responsible nor in the public interest to choose not to report fully the investigation into Sir Cliff Richard because of his public profile.

“The BBC, at every stage, reported Sir Cliff’s full denial of the allegations.

“The BBC, therefore, stands by the decision to report the investigation undertaken by the South Yorkshire Police and the search of his property.

“The Home Affairs Select Committee reviewed the editorial decisions made by the BBC and concluded ‘we see nothing wrong in their decision to run the story’.”

The 75-year-old said he thought he was “going to die” as a result of the stress brought on by the probe into historical allegations.

Last week, the Crown Prosecution Service said there was “insufficient evidence to prosecute” the singer.

South Yorkshire Police said it “apologised wholeheartedly” for its handling of the media interest in its investigation.

Sir Cliff, who has said he is “thrilled” he will face no further action, told The Daily Mail he’s considering suing both the BBC and South Yorkshire Police for what they have put him through.

The singer was in Portugal in August 2014, when he received a call saying police officers had a warrant to search his Berkshire apartment.

The initial raid by detectives was broadcast live on TV.

Illegal Version Of The Drug That Killed Prince Is At The Centre Of An Emerging Epidemic In America.

#WeGotYourBack #WeGotItCovered #BreakingNews #EntertainmentNews #USA #Prince #AccidentalOverdose #Fentanyl #OpioidEpidemic #IllegalLabsInChina  #MexicanCartels

Fentanyl is up to 100 times more powerful than morphine, and 50 times more potent than heroin.

It has been used in hospitals for decades in the form of skin patches and lozenges to relieve extreme pain.

But now an illegal version is on the streets, and just a few grains of the white powder can kill a user before they’ve even finished injecting it.

Drug Enforcement Administration spokesperson Rusty Payne has told Sky News that fentanyl has become a particular problem in the last 18 months because illegal labs in China have worked out how to make it in large quantities.

Mexican cartels then buy it wholesale, and push it on the streets in America through their existing opiate trafficking networks.

For that reason, a lot of fentanyl is found in places with existing heroin problems, particularly in northern states like Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Pennsylvania.

It is also turning up in places like Ohio, Florida and Kentucky.

Mr Payne said: “We are seeing huge fentanyl seizures all over the North East, more than we’ve ever seen before, and a lot of times replacing heroin.

“You can stretch the fentanyl product much, much further than heroin.

“You could take a kilo of fentanyl and turn it in to 25 kilograms and make close to a million dollars, whereas with heroin you could make one or two hundred thousand dollars per kilo, when broken down and packaged.

“Fentanyl is a major problem, we would say that it’s an epidemic, as is the entire opioid epidemic which includes heroin, prescription drugs and fentanyl.”

An up-to-date national picture of the effects of fentanyl isn’t really available because many hospitals and labs across America don’t routinely test for it.

The latest country-wide figures from The Centers For Disease Control (CDC) are from two years ago.

The CDC reports that of all known cases in 2014, approximately 5,500 people died of overdose deaths involving synthetic opioids (including fentanyl) other than methodone.

That’s an increase of 80% on the year before.

But in the New Hampshire state police crime lab they track fentanyl on a daily basis.

Often mixed in with heroin, it turns up in around half of the 750 monthly drug samples that get delivered there.

In 2015 alone, more than two thirds of all overdose deaths were fentanyl related.

Lab director Tim Pifer showed Sky News a few grains of white powder in a vial.

“That’s enough fentanyl to kill you”, he said.

“It’s so dangerous because visually there’s no difference between a heroin sample or a fentanyl sample.

“So the street dealers don’t know what they’re selling, the users don’t know what they’re really injecting in to themselves, even our undercover narcotics officers do not know what they’re purchasing.

“These individuals who have addictions are literally playing with a loaded gun every time they put the needle in their arm.”

Many people first take fentanyl without knowing it because the cheaper substance is often mixed with other drugs to increase profits for dealers.

But some who get hooked on the rapid, short-lived high actually seek it out.

That’s what is happening with some addicts in Lawrence, Massachusetts.

The old mill town outside Boston has long been used as a hub for dealers and traffickers, and now fentanyl is compounding the crisis there.

Under the Casey Bridge a community of homeless people describe how they have struggled with it.

Mike and Brittany are expecting a baby in six weeks.

Former drug dealer Mike said: “All I’ve known my whole life is selling drugs and robbing people.

“It’s (fentanyl) taking everything over, people are dying from it and it’s so easy to make, it’s so easy, cheap, moves quick, makes a lot of money, it’s heaven for the dealers but it’s hell for the users.”

Terror Group Claims Responsibility For Pulse Nightclub Mass Shooting, That Left 50 Dead

#WeGotYourBack #WeGotItCovered #ITVNews #NightClubMassShooting #TerrorGroup #OmarMateen #USA #Orlando #Florida #PulseNightClub #50Dead

Fifty people have been killed and dozens injured after a gunman opened fire in a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida.

Here’s what we know about the deadliest mass shooting in US history.

Armed with an assault rifle, handgun and wearing a suspicious device around his body, Omar Mateen burst into Pulse nightclub and opened fire at around 2am.

“Everyone get out of pulse and keep running,” a post on the club’s Facebook said around 30 minutes later.

Mateen initially exchanged fire with a police officer who was working at the venue before taking hostages.

At around 5am, police stormed the building and Mateen was killed in the ensuing gunfight – bringing the three-hour standoff to an end.

  • The death toll

At least 50 people have been killed, making the Pulse nightclub attack the worst shooting on US soil.

That figure could still rise further – 53 wounded people are in hospital.

  • The killer

Omar Mateen called 911 to pledge allegiance to so-called Islamic State shortly after he launched his attack, NBC News reported.

The terror group claimed responsibility on Sunday evening in a statement through its Amaq news agency, saying an “Islamic State fighter” had carried out the attack.

Mateen was interviewed twice by the FBI after apparently making inflammatory comments to a colleague.

Despite this, he was allowed to legally purchase the guns used in the attack last week.

Mateen’s father denied there was a religious motive, telling NBC that his son hated gay people and recently became angry when he saw two men kissing in Miami.

Mateen was born in New York 29 years ago to parents who had emigrated from Afghanistan.

His ex-wife said he was violent, mentally unstable and regularly beat her during their eight years of marriage.

There were more than 300 people inside the club.

Survivors and eyewitnesses have been recalling how the horrific attack unfolded.

All you saw is people running and screaming and there were bodies in the parking lot where bodies were being tagged.

It was like a scene from a horror movie.

– CHRISTOPHER HANSEN, SPEAKING TO CNN

It was tragic. I heard loud banging noises, gunshots going off.

I wasn’t sure if it was the music, or the ending to a song or something.

It went with the beat almost, until there were too many shots.

It was just like bang, bang, bang. That’s when you just know. It was chaos.

– WITNESS

Just looking into the eyes of our officers told the whole story.

– POLICE OFFICER ON CRIME SCENE
  • Worldwide condemnation

President Obama said the attack was an “act of terror and an act of hate”, calling it a “heartbreaking day” for the LGBT community.

“No act of hate or terror will ever change who we are or the values that make us Americans,” he said in a statement.

obama_web_clip

Prime Minister David Cameron said he was “horrified” by the massacre while Pope Francis expressed “horror and condemnation”.

The Queen sent a personal message to President Obama to convey her sympathies, Buckingham Palace said.

French president Francois Hollande said he “expresses the full support of France and the French with America’s authorities and its people in this difficult time”.

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton told the LGBT community that they had “millions of allies” across the country as she expressed her shock at the atrocity.

Donald Trump, the presumptive Republican nominee, sparked outrage when he said he appreciated the “congrats for being right on radical Islamic terrorism”.
